Ingredients
1. Bread Slice – 5, broken into small pieces
2. Potato – 1 small, finely cubed
3. Onion – 1 small, finely chopped
4. Tomato – 1 small, deseeded and finely chopped
5. Green Peas – ½ cup, boiled
6. Green chilli – 1 small, finely chopped
7. Mustard Seeds (Rai) – ½ tsp
8. Cumin Seeds (Jeera) – ½ tsp
9. Curry Leaves – 5-6
10. Turmeric Powder (Haldi)- ¼ tsp
11. Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
12. Coriander Leaves to garnish
13. Salt to taste
14. Vegetable Oil – 3 tsp
Method
1. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan.
2. Add mustard seeds (rai), cumin seeds (Jeera) and curry leaves to the hot oil and allow it to splutter.
3. Add the chopped potatoes and fry until they are soft and cooked.
4. Then add the chopped onions, green chillies, boiled peas and fry for a few minutes.
5. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt and turmeric powder (haldi) and mix well. Cook for a few more minutes.
6. Add the bread pieces and mix everything well. Fry for some time until the bread pieces are heated through and coated with the vegetable mix.
7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
