Semolina (Sooji) – ½ cup, roasted
Raisins (Kishmish)– 2 tsp
Green Cardamom Powder (Elaichi powder) – 2 tsp
Water – 1 and ½ cup
Sugar – ½ cup
Ghee – 2 tbsp
1. Heat the ghee in a non-stick pan. Add the semolina (sooji) and fry, stirring continuously, until slightly browned.
2. Alongside, mix the water and sugar in a saucepan and bring it to a boil.
3. Once the semolina (sooji) is adequately roasted and browned, add the water and sugar syrup and stir well to remove all lumps. Dry all the water.
4. Add the raisins and green cardamom powder and mix well.
