Mango season is the best season of the year. Mango is a divine fruit descended straight from bliss. No matter how careful I am throughout the year about my intake of sweets… when mangoes are in town, there is no looking back – at the seeds and peels left behind. Well, they are purely soul food, so I am sure the calories don’t even touch the body!
This recipe of mango lassi is so refreshing for summer months especially after being out in the heat for long. I have added a pinch of cinnamon because cinnamon is one of the most delicious spice on this planet! Cinnamon + fruit can never go wrong.
1. Yoghurt – 1 cup
2. Mango – 1 medium, chopped in to cubes
3. Cinnamon powder – ½ tsp
4. Sugar / Honey – 3 tsp or as per taste
5. Ice – 1 cup
1. Add all ingredients in a mixer and blend until it is smooth flowing.
2. Sprinkle some cinnamon powder on top and serve.
