Serves 2
Ingredients
1. Romaine lettuce – 1 head
2. Strawberry – 10-15
3. Flax seeds – 1 tsp
4. Pumpkin Seeds – 1 tsp
5. Sunflower Seeds – 1 tsp
6. Salt – a pinch
7. Pepper powder – a pinch
Dressing
1. Honey – 2 tsp
2. Extra Virgin Olive oil – 2 tbsp
3. Balsamic Vinegar – 2 tsp
Method
1.
Prepare the romaine lettuce – First make slits starting from near the head to the end of leaves. Don’t cut through but about half into the lettuce. Turn the head and make 4-5 horizontal slits. Now hold the lettuce from the leaf side and start chopping.
Wash the chopped leaves well under running water. Then rinse with clean drinking water. Gently pat the leaves with a tissue to dry them .

Remove the head of strawberry and chop into medium size pieces.

For the dressing – Mix well together honey, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

Place the lettuce in a salad bowl. Add the strawberries, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds. Also add in the seasoning – salt and pepper powder and then toss everything well.
5.
Pour the dressing over the salad just before serving and enjoy your healthy salad.
